Burleson (she/they) is a student of English from Pensacola, Florida. They write short fiction and poetry rooted in their experience growing up as a genderqueer lesbian in the southern United States. In her work, Burleson aims to blur the lines between the queer and the ordinary. “Forever Treasured” is their first work published outside of student literary journals.
