X. Ramos-Lara (she/her) is a queer Xicana trans woman from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This fall she will begin her doctoral program in English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she hopes to research material at the intersections of queer performance, affect theory, and Latinx creative writing. In her spare time, X. enjoys watching anime, reading Butler and Lacan, and writing poetry about her queer Mexican transness.
