Mel Connelly is a lesbian poet, art historian, and archivist from Georgia who is living in France, where she studies rare books and manuscripts. She holds a master’s in art history from Georgia State University and she received her MFA in writing from Columbia University. At the moment, she is obsessed with making collages out of old feminist journals and adapting Southern food recipes with French ingredients. Pimento cheese is the new foie gras!
